You raise an interesting question. No automated word processing devices back then. In fact, no reliable electricity to run them even if they did have them. And, gosh, they had no no plastic for floppy disks either. After all that mead, they could have meant anything when they wrote that clause in the Second Amendment. Being animal lovers, they could have even meant, "The right arm to bears," as opposed to the left arm, or they, like so many highly intelligent people, could have had their lefts and rights completely mixed around. So many possibilities there. Boggles the mind, it does. I need to give this some more thought.
