Sonny, about Brinker. I didn't get on the computer all weekend. I did catch parts of his show Saturday and Sunday. He's still bullish, saying he'd dollar cost average into the market at this point. Any pullback to 7400 - 7500 DOW, and he'd call for complete BUY. One caller did mention INTC. Says he bought recently, had some profit, so he sold at $91 and a fraction. Brinker said that was fine, taking a profit, since Intel had been acting weak mid and late week, with lower intraday highs each day. Brinker is still holding (as of this past weekend). If he'd sold, he would have said so.

On the AMD - IBM thing, I'm sure you read it, but I'll import my notes in a post from the main thread for anyone else that might be interested. And, yeah, this is no big deal for AMD. IBM didn't do Cyrix much good by building their chips, so, what's the difference here? The street still thinks Intel is vulnerable, I guess. Any company is, but Intel the least, IMO.
