I know what you wrote:

1) Your "ignorance" on Hiss is clearly willful - you are immune to 40 years of scholarship. Yet somehow you knew about the Russian general that cleared him, but not that the same general quickly recanted.

2) You did vehemently defend Hiss in relation to Chambers, finding Hiss the convicted perjurer the preferable of the two. You rejected the view that Chambers redeemed himself. You stated that Chambers was "caught" - a lie.
