Jim, If you want to see cooking with lard , try a show on PBS, called, (I think),,Two Fat Ladies,, everything is wrapped in bacon, cooked in butter,and very rich cream. , also quite funny.

Gave a sorta dinner party last night. Chili, Italians love it. And yes, I DO make it with lard. Here we also eat lard raw, sliced very very thin. Delicious!

And BTW. I wear a size six. Sometimes four.
