No, I have never asked for a post to be removed. I did, however, bring one to the attention of the webmistress. She said she would "handle it". Removal was her remedy, not mine.

I would have preferred a simple apology and a retraction. But that would have required too much of someone too small.

You see, I have no problem with anyone stating what they think. It is, however a far, far different proposition for someone to post a fabricated message purporting to be from me and purporting to state what I think.

Surething did the following:

1) fabricated a message

2) lied to all that the the message came from me

3) in that fabrication had me confessing to sodomy and other wanton acts

4) posted that message

That is not free speech. That is a perversion of free speech that should be condemned by all thinking people who actually do value free speech and its expression.

That fundamental right will be eroded if more people are as reckless and irresponsible as Surething and anyone interested in protecting same should be repulsed by his heinous and duplicitous act.
