Raptor....... I am a small town pharmacist of 36 years and ready to retire !!!
I was introduced to psft by my son who was involved in the puchase of psft for York
University but it took several years for him to convince me to invest . He is presently at The University of Northern Arizona as Project Manager of a psft instalation.
Crystalizing is an old term for cross trading whereby you sell and buy and are charged one fee (not the discount) . By doing this on the Canadian side you are able to raise the book value of your RRSP account causing your 20% figure to rise too giving your more room to buy American stock Psft in particular.
I am maxed out at 20 % American investment .This is why I have been watching Geac but the GF still did not seem right. GF is always the last indicator to come into play when buying any stock and in my little town it is called GUT FEELING
and yes it can be wrong too.
