Actually I was going more along the same lines Bill posted. I'm certainly not saying we've hit any permanent end of the line, it's just that I think the current generation of PCs has gotten a little bit ahead of the applications written for them as well as for the pipes feeding those in client-server applications.

The (eventually) coming Win98 and NT v5.0 will take some time to penetrate the corporate environment, mainly because corporates are usually hesitant to adopt anything until after some of the new has worn off and it has proven itself to an extent.
I believe we've been seeing this same scenario with BT.

Time moves on, someday you may need a P-III/1000 just to load Netscape v7.01.
