As I understand it they also have the rights to several licenses for the 18GHz range which they acquired for free from the FCC because at the time that they applied for these licenses, no one else was interested in this frequency range, so the FCC was unable to auction that spectrum. However, apparently there are MANY companies who are now interested in this frequency range, and Associated Communications plans to sell them at quite a large profit next year.
