Archie, certainly there is an argument to be made for the Clinton scandals being none of our business. Some people believe that how you conduct yourself sexually is an indication of the ethical standards you maintain in other areas of your life, and some do not. The sheer number of scandals dogging the Clintons, going all the way back to the 1970's, however, concerning banking felonies in Arkansas, and the recurring patterns of what at least looks like obstruction of justice, perjury and witness tampering, would make someone who DOES believe that sexual misconduct is generally related a bit to other misconduct get pretty tired of watching all this. I guess I am just tired, and would like it to be over, one way or the other.

I do think Clinton is distracted from other issues he needs to concentrate on, and that is not good for the country. Also, even though a lot of us might have briefly experimented with free love in the late sixties when we were very young and inexperienced, I would say that it is a very hurtful way to live once you are married. As far as Asian government people doing this all the time, the Chinese also execute prisoners and sell their body parts immediately afterwards. So I don't think any real comparison can be made.
