Trippi,

1) You're right...THQI won't take a 40% earnings hit.
It could be worse than 40%. You mention that THQ will grow
earnings by another 35%. Where do you think that 35% is coming from?
A lot from WCW sales!!! It's a circuitous argument. True, Quest and
Rugrats (I'm skeptical on this one) will lead to increased earnings,
but unless Qwest is a big hit as Todd seems to think it will be,
it will be hard to replace WCW sales. Also, I'm sure that part of
the optimism for increasing revs/income was also due to the ERTS Road Rash/Nuclear Strike
deal...this could also be non-recurring revenue.

2) The business model: I've talked about this in a previous post

3) Conservative earnings guidance: Yes, that's true...but this ERTS
deal just threw a wrench in the works for not this quarter, surely, but
definitely clouded visibility for next year.

4) THQI's one hope is that management is as saavy as most here believe.
I am not saying THQI is a dead company...not by any means. I am just
saying that they were and are vulnerable.
