Teddy, wasn't everyone saying 75% when the deal was first proposed? (Note that we are talking about only a part of WCOM's business; I'm not sure I understand your "wish [it] really was this big" comment)

In any case, 75% or 60% or whatever, aren't there a number of companies out there spending hundreds of millions EACH building out their own networks, adding to the total capacity and diluting WCOM's control?

Doesn't look like a probable monopoly to me, but the feds seem to be in some kind of an activist frenzy lately. Sometimes for good reason, but they may be getting a little high on their newfound power. Needless to say, the Nader and Jesse J opposition is purely politically/financially motivated.
