Tom: And while we're at it, let's not forget El Nino. :-) It seems to be affecting everything else. You make a good case for fretting. Like you, I am no longer as complacent about Adaptec's prospects as I was before December. A great company will attempt to anticipate threats to profits and adjust/adapt. I will give it a chance to show us how good it is. If past is prelude, we're ok. But if the company is riding on its past success, we could be in trouble. I favor the former. Not doing any handwringing right now. Starowl
