Big Bull << and some things may just be bull! >>

Only checked the last few post, but a rational person must question
the Sony buyout. If we heard it, the MM's heard it long ago. I say
the stock is trending the wrong direction for substance to this rumor.
I've learned to listen to the market, not what it says, but what it
does. Buyout is the current most effective ploy to keep investors invested.
It may be true, but the odds are no. Held MUEI 1year on buyout
rumors. Held ASND several months for the same. They may occur, but
meanwhile you hold dead money, for maybe lightyears. Well, maybe that's a little extreme.
I made a major move yesterday. I've been wanting to move all my
assets to Ameritrade, but with the early 98 run, I was hesitant
to switch with a 10 - 20 day untradeable time frame. Convinced the
tech run has had it's coarse, yesterday, I sold off every equity at
market value around the last hour before close. I'm now 100% cash,
waiting for the move, and can't get burned on bad news as I fully expect as these weak earnings continue. It called for a double on the rocks to settle me down. I can't handle the broker fees from t. Rowe with day trades. An in and out is about 1/2 point and at 1k share thats $500 up in smoke. With Amtd, an in and out is $26 on limit orders. Now there's money in 1/2 point moves.
I've passed too many $500 quick profits for this problem, not
to mention the annual trade totals. One of the CNBC talk shows spoke
of INTC getting into set-tops yesterday. They've learned they must
now move beyond processors, as just about every interface keeps
their progress stalled. What good is 1000 mhz processor for the
internet user. Disk drives another bottleneck. If you ever hear of
GIC / INTC talks, we're home free. Until then, or something similar,
beware. Something stinks, we just haven't yet been able to root it
out. See you soon. Being in 100% cash I can only dream of a 20%
market correction over the next couple weeks. Later --- Larry
