Your 4 motivators remind me of Maslow's heirarch of needs theory. He had 5 basic categories:
1) physiological...food- lots of big Mac's, water- diet soda, rest, shelter etc.
2) Safety.... free from threats to one existence
3) Belongingness....need for friendship and affection...Monica, Willey, etc.
4) Esteem ....need to have a high opinion of ones self and have the respect of others ....tell people what ever they want to hear
5) Self-Actualization ....
In general, the first steps need to be satisfied before the next. Some people may get stuck not being able to be satisfied in an area.
Back to your motivators, being under forty myself I don't know if I agree with you on the age part. So many older people will willing suck the life out the younger generations so they can milk the socialist systems for themselves. It can really be disheartening to see the grandmother and grandfathers selling their grandchildren down the river so to speak. My grandmother 85 is such a yellow dog democrat it's funny. If you listen to the c-span call in shows, it is surprising how many older woman call in to say that we should overlook Clinton's crimes because he has promised them some goodies. As far as age goes, I do worry about the long term negative effect that this Clinton presidency will have on the youth of this country.
I didn't know that about the INS. That's terrible, but sadly not surprising. That reminds me how the requirements for government security clearances were changed immediately after Clinton took office so that there are no more questions about or interest in whether or not you were a member of the communist party or have any perverted sexual habits. I remember talking to this director in the intelligence community about it and he told me how the Clinton people were running around having access to classified info without security clearance...... which turned out to be true. He also, (surprised me) pulled out a copy of the Jennifer Flowers Penthouse magazine and he believed it was all true despite Clintons lies, which of course he has admitted to now. (I didn't stop to read the article, but I remember having a laugh about his saying that Jennifer said in the article that Clinton had a small penis. Now I understand why he takes the oral approach <g>) He also said that his friends in the secret service told him about how young women were in and out of Bill's room and Hillary's room. It looks like that is turning out to be true also. An FBI agent investigating them who lived in my neighborhood had some cooberating information...hearsay..on another interesting subject,which I won't say since I would like to see more evidence first. With the Clintons so bad you have to be carefully not to automatically assume that they have done every bad thing you hear about.
I haven't heard about Ms. Denziger. That's not this other Ms. D...something that has come up lately is it?
Where is the next Abraham Lincoln? We need him badly.
