MS Browning said if she was in it for the money, she would have sold out along time ago to the Tabloids, like in 1992 when it was important.

Could also be that Browning's exaggerating considerably, and the tabloids just weren't interested. Could also be that, since she claims to have been working on her magnum opus since 1986, she didn't want to spoil her chances by telling her story elsewhere first.

And let's not forget: she wants to sue Clinton essentially because his refusal to admit their affair is damaging sales of the book. Or so she believes.
