Brian, So here's the question...did you buy any BAANF stock or options? I feel that what you said is accurate and am not surprised that it happened. I think that BAANF is actually a much more volatile stock than PSFT. Though I would never buy BAANF as a long term investment it is probably a good stock to trade or buy options. For some reason I just don't like BAANF. I never have. That has nothing to do with stock performance, etc. It's actually just how I feel about it. Not a good reason to not buy a stock I know. But there are enough others out there where I don't feel this way that I have just chosen to stay away from BAANF. Though I have often thought of buying BAANF on some of its dips I have just never done it. In hindsight that was always the wrong decision, btw, given the assumption that my goal is to make money. There is no doubt that BAANF is a hot company in a hot sector. I think your analysis is correct and potentially would generate some nice returns. Keep in mind though that BAANF apparently does not conform to U.S. accounting standards so a big surprise could come out of nowhere and you would be totally blindsighted. Though after saying that I thought about IFMX which did conform and look what happened to us there anyway.
