Well, there is plenty of strange television here as well, but it is more sheer humiliation as people beat each other up on screen, or agree to appear on a program after being forewarned that someone they know is going to drop a bombshell on them. That is what happened on the show where there were two men who were friends, and one of them got up the nerve to confide in the other that he had ROMANTIC feelings for him, and then of course the guy who felt threatened by that shot his friend to death the same evening. So all in all, I must say I would prefer the naked folks, who are just having quite a bit of fun. And I would bet money that skimpy underwear in Italy is MUCH more stylish than skimpy underwear here, and that Italian television in general is much easier on the eye.
