I noticed you did not mention punitive damages being divided up between the plaintiff and his attorney. Is that a touchy subject among lawyers? Individuals and corporations are entitled to compensatory awards, but not punitive awards IMO. Punishment should only be dished out by the state, not individuals. You may have a halo, but most of your peers have horns. No offense intended. Jim
