Five years from now we will all get a big laugh out of this.

Yes, no doubt. We'll be looking back on the "good old days", when the government had money to pay their bills with. We'll be incredulous how the government frittered away opportunities to stave off disaster, while happily raiding the Social Security Trust Fund. Instead, all of Washington D.C. was more worred about who was going to be subpoened next by Ken Starr, when they should have been thinking about how to prevent the Social Security "train wreck" when baby-boomers began retiring.

Oh well. Hopefully I'll have enough saved by that time that I won't feel obligated to work very hard, only to have the combined Social Security Admin. and the IRS take 60-70% of my earned income.
