jlallen: I've heard on a talk show with an author of a book written on the subject that lawyers will not sue another lawyer for malpractice unless the plaintiff lawyer knows the defendant lawyer has malpractice insurance. The author, a lawyer, said he could not find even one case where a lawyer sued another lawyer w/out there being malpractice insurance. The reason being one lawyer did not want to take another lawyer's personal assets in settling a claim. Comments?
