Good morning Patrick. Let me answer your post with a question. If figuring out the "value" of a stock is so easy, perhaps you would share your methodology with the rest of us. I've been trying to do just that for years, and am frankly stymied. I think we need three parameters: 1) best estimation of future free cash flows; 2) the risk (standard deviation) of not making those estimates; and 3)the risk-free rate of return (this one is the only easy one).

I've yet to see any valuation technique that adequately deals with growth, and is capable of dealing with nebulous multi-year time frames.
