Marcus,
Ive followed your posts in here for the last month
I've been posting here for 7 days...... It just *seems* longer :)
and have never seen a positive comment in regards to ADPT.
Look again - I would agree that my view of the short term is not positive, but you will find a lot of my comments are positive about the longer term *provided* ADPT gets a few things sorted out. Checkout -

Something must have peeked your interest in this company because you weren't here slamming it before then.
ADPT seems to have had a great track record (until 6 months ago) which is usually a sign of good (great ?) management. It seems to be going through a rough patch at the moment. I came across the thread whilst trawling for SEEQ information, and found some intelligent and realistic discussion - i.e. some voices seemed to express reasonable concerns about the short term future of the company. Given that SI has a high proportion of inexperienced, optimistic posters, this made a refreshing change. I particularly liked Tom's post which I made my first post here in response to.
In as far as this thread deteriorating into "random superficial comments" as you say , id like you to know it was doing fine before your arrival and will do just as well when your long gone. I appreciate reading all posts in here, but I find your wrangling of this air time a bit annoying to say the least. That said, enjoy your obvious short position while you can.
My, I do seem to have annoyed you ! Sorry.
As I said in an earlier post, I am not short. I never short. It seems to me as simply profiting due to a company's misfortune. Besides which, I prefer the risk/reward, and potentially better percentages gains you get from being long.
Perhaps if you don't like my "negative" arguments you can present some positive ones which will convince me and others to buy now ? Perhaps also, your fourth ever post at SI could be related more to the company than fellow posters ?
P.S. Not that ZACKS knows anything, but has anyone noticed their rating go from STRONG SELL to HOLD recently?
From Quote.com, First Call has a mean recommendation of 2.1 (i.e. Buy) from 9 analysts; it doesn't show a one week ago figure ??!! Yahoo has a mean of 2.3, but that goes back to 9 March.
First Call has '98 earnings estimate of $1.76, and a Q4 of 35c. Both of these are down in the last week, and down slightly more on 30days ago.
First Call has a '99 mean earnings estimate of $1.82. This is down from one week ago of $1.87. (Probably the Morgan Stanley). Interestingly, there also seems to have been an upward revision within the last month. Guess there must now be quite a spread of estimates for '99 ! Does anyone have more detailed figures ?
