Hi George,
"OK, since you made me look 'em up, I'm going to bust your balls. Couldn't find "lexiphany", but I believe it should be "tergiversate"!".
Touch‚, and I consider myself "busted"! Would you grant me the typo excuse for tergiversate?
Regarding lexiphany, it's not in my Merriam-Webster, either, and I admit to making a noun out of the adjective lexiphanic, which also isn't in the dictionary. Another "word" book, however, defines it as "given to pretentious terminology". (Like using the word lexiphanic.)
Buckley must know it!
Jack
P.S. I assume Mr. Arturo, whose post I was referring to, posted that screed in jest or mockery. It was very good. I wasn't trying to be critical, just commenting in a jocular manner. I need to start using those <g> things.
