Duncan, This may come as a shock to you but I do remember John Seymour. As for Mondale choosing Ferraro over Feinstein, Senator Feinstein was a virtual unknown nationally at the time. I think Senator Feinstein did Mike Huffington a tremendous favor in refusing to debate him. I don't think too many other people in California took Huffington seriously either. Remember, California's voters are politically conservative. Senator Feinstein is a Democrat. As she runs on the Democrat ticket, it should come as no surprise that she doesn't always prevail in elections in California. However, I would venture a guess that if the gubernatorial election were held today, she would best Wilson this time. Holly
