I can assert and defend any position I need to adopt to advance the interests of my client in my professional capacity. That is the nature of the legal profession. I was expressing my PERSONAL opinion which is that all the hoo haa over the "important rights" at stake here is really B.S. We are talking about video rentals and/or book purchases which I assume Mr. Starr will use to corroborate testimony and/or facts which tend to support his position that Ms. Lewinsky was not truthful under oath in a judicial proceeding. Personally I see nothing wrong with that but that is just my personal opinion. It doesn't make you right or me wrong. We are both entitled to have differing opinions. I think the need to make ad hominem attacks shows that you are really uncomfortable with your position. Deep down you know Clinton is "guilty as charged" and you should not not implicate such important principles to defend on who is utterly undeserving of such a defense. JLA
