I don't think MSFT would buy an Israel-based company. All of their software development is in Seattle, except for a small team they just put together in India. Also I think CHKPF is a little expensive for them, and I don't think firewall software fits into their strategy. I think CHKPF should stay independent ... any merger would probably stymie their growth.
