The irony is that you are going to own more shares of CNTR in the future! I assume that you looked closely at the forms relating to the lawsuit when you sent them in (I did). The lawyers will get the cash, ~4 or 5 million, we will split the 2M + shares that CNTR has put in the kitty. So you better hope the share price goes up!

I don't really believe that you are nuts. In fact, you seem well informed about the *past* history of GPTA. I have followed this company closely since it went public in Feb.1993. I once bought 1,000 shares for $ 24.00 a share. The miracle is that I still haven't lost money in the stock because I made a killing in it just before that
(Nov. 1993 to Jan. 1994).

I have been investing in software companies since March 1986 on the day that MSFT went public. You mention ORCL, do you remember in 1990 when the stock lost ~ 80% of its value (from about $27 to $5)? Who would have predicted that it would come back to be the powerhouse that it is today?

My point is that investors, particularly the big mutual fund managers, are fickle and have short memories. If CNTR starts to show progressively improving earnings, the stock will go up. It's that simple. CNTR at these prices could be a *great* investment. I personally would not put any more money into it now because I have other favorites (namely LGWX, Logic Works, a steal at its current price).

Best regards.
