Well, we do know they had sex at least once. Chelsea looks like both of her parents, although she is one of those unfortunate children who seems to have inherited the worst traits of each of them. Bill is objectively a fairly attractive man, and I have never thought Hillary was THAT unattractive, even when she was young and had not had all that plastic surgery you have discussed here.
I think it is important to try to stay objective about Hillary. She is an attorney, so her first impulse is to obfuscate now, and talk later. She is a human being, though, and it is difficult for me to imagine that she is not horribly troubled and embarrassed at this point about her marriage, in private. The Clintons use public physical affection to maintain an image, however. Do you remember when she was holding Bill's hand on that original 1992 60 Minutes episode? It has been reported that she snatched it away the moment the cameras were off them. One thing about Hillary is that she does not discuss the marriage, even with her friends, and they would never bring up the subject. I have read a few woman writers express the feeling that they wish Hillary had slapped her husband silly and kicked him out this time, because her behavior seems a little delusional, as well as paranoid. It is certainly not typical of a woman who is a feminist, because Bill would seem to degrade her and many other women with his sexual behavior. |
