Mark, I just finished an informal search of ADPT's job's page!

One of the most interesting things to turn up was that there are only a few engineering positions available, however, in areas like operations there was a long list of vacances. I like to track jobs as a leading indicator, the lack of major engineering listings speaks volumes by itself, however that coupled with a push toward operations really shows managements hand.

My read is that the push is on a ADPT to save money, Design Engineering generally has little if any impact on the performance of a company for at least 1.5 to 2 years, yet it's a black hole for resources and capital. Personally it seems to me that ADPT should be focusing on new product development, they have a very narrow product portfolio and are seeing competition on a number of fronts yet I don't see a product roadmap that addresses this condition.

Any comments?
