With the merger Adaptec is getting a huge asset of engineering talent. I am surprised that this thread is not giving enough credit to the brilliant move ADPT made with this acquisition. I would like to see some discussion on the prospects of the combined corporation.
IMHO the impact is far beyond the combined sales. Given time to coalesce, this company is dynamite. I believe it is likely to double in price within 12 months.
