David, the only reason the Clintons are still viewed favorably by a lot of people is that there is a common belief that the Starr investigation, starting with the Whitewater part of it, was a politically motivated witch hunt, and that there is not really much evidence there.

I can almost guarantee you that if either Clinton is indicted, sentiment will swing against them strongly, and almost immediately.
