But you should also be reminded that Reagan Era deficits were TINY TINY TINY in comparison with Franklin Deficit Roosevelt's when measured in relation to the overall budget and national economy. Record deficits and national debt weren't enough of a legacy so FDR also saddled us with the Cold War which wasted another $7,000,000,000,000 (at least).
