A simplified look at the merger Symbios is probably the strongest Adaptec competitor in the SCSI board area. This situation has created price pressures for both companies. Wise management will keep the best products and thus eliminate price pressures. Prices go up. Company makes more profit. Whats wrong with that? gda p.s. I haven't forgotten the redundant employees. More profits - more jobs. Few people get laid off.
