A display of Adaptec's Satellite Express receiver that can be used by businesses or consumers to access CyberStar service capabilities include multicasting, high-speed Internet access, business information services and video streaming for a variety of applications including corporate training, multimedia distribution, distributing software to field locations, updating company databases, and kiosk updates.
DigitalXpress Hospitality Suite, LV Hilton
DigitalXpress specializes in high-quality, low-cost satellite-to-desktop digital video, audio and data information distribution systems for the business community. The IRD board fits into standard desktop PCs and will be used with the company*s XpressData store and forward and streaming data services. With this system, DigitalXpress will make satellite distribution of data, multimedia files and desktop video easier and more cost effective for its customers.

Demonstration of the DiviCast headend solution for data broadcasting working with the Adaptec Satellite Express PCI receiver card. The complete DiviCast system will be shown working with DiviCom's core video encoding and multiplexing products. The demonstration will feature multicasting of live events and distance learning as well as client-server applications, such as newspaper delivery and software distribution.

EUTELSAT, Europe's leading satellite operator, is the first in Europe to deliver DVB-based data broadcasting services throughout Europe using the Adaptec Satellite Express PC receiver card. In December it signed an agreement with Adaptec and DiviCom to boost satellite-delivered multimedia and Internet services in Europe. Two platforms are already demonstrating services in Paris and London and a third operational platform will go live in Hungary later this month.

In the demo Logic Innovations will encapsulate the IP data and route it to a modulator and a satellite uplink.
