I mentioned this here some time ago. The alliance I find the most interesting is with Eutelsat. It is always nicer when you have a monopolistic player and a large captive audience in a partnership....

This could end up contributing significantly to the bottom line. It also fits in nicely with Adaptec's stated goal of supplying bandwidth management solutions instead of just SCSI adapters.

Could it be that Adaptec's management knows exactly what they are doing? Looks to me like they have already formed a lot of very important alliances in this area.
