Turkey/Henry/Fool/Gianelda/Paul: You posted the following in reference to Oppenheimer & Company's October report on TLC:

"all three brokerages have stopped following TLC because of the problems oppenheimer listed in their Oct/97 report. Oppenheimer warned that if TLC would not improve performance in Q4 they would stop following it. They cite: high returns, slow sales in the industry, collapsing prices, and TLC's failure to meet estimates without the new acquisitions."

Here is Oppenheimer's October report on TLC:
207.203.38.34

The report says that "We are encouraged by the recent market share data which indicate that TLC has gained share and now commands the highest market share in educational/reference software at 19.6% of the market as of September." This is, obviously, an out-of-date report since TLC is doing much better today; however, the report is generally supportive and certainly doesn't have the negative connotations suggested in your post.

Actually, there doesn't seem to be ANYthing in this report corresponding to your post. There was no threat to stop following TLC and there was no mention of high returns, slow sales in the industry, collapsing prices, or that TLC might not meet estimates without new acquisitions. Could it be that you simply imagined that you read these things? Could it be that virtually everything you post simply comes from your morbid imagination?

Please try to stick to the facts!
