AN UNPRECEDENTED VALUE ...

The Learning Company has been hammered by short sellers seeking to capitalize on confusion about its sophisticated financing of recent acquisitions. However, estimated 1997 earnings are approximately $2.00 per share; at least two analysts recommend strong buys, and four moderate buys; and within the past few days there have been a number of substantial stock purchases, including one of 1,040,000 shares and the last trade today of 216,000 shares.

At mid-March the short interest in TLC was approximately 6,300,000 shares. There is no negative news. The current P/E ratio is approximately 4. These are VERY bullish signs.

In the preceeding subject "SoftKey=MergerMania" we tracked the company as the short sellers hammered its stock price down. In this new subject, we expect to track it from its current stock price of 7-5/8 to its target price of 53.
