This thread is not

a purely religious thread, obviously.
If you wish to be judged, or judge others, then there are much better threads than Ask God II. Try Ask God.

I would really like to think that we will never have to use the term "refugee" to refer to a poster who is posting on this thread. If you see an example of uncivil behavior, point it out, I will blast em <g>

Todays Recipe
Wild Duck
This recipe will require several wild ducks.
Break the skin open at the base of the ducks neck on the breast side, this will allow the skin to be peeled back exposing the breast of the duck. Take a sharp boning knife and remove the breast meat in two separate pieces. Soak the breast meat in heavily salted water overnight, changing the water several times. Heat a skillet with a small amount of canola oil and sear the duck breasts. Add a generous dollop of butter and two or three sliced(1/4") onions. Saute the onions until brown. Add the seared duck breasts and enough half/half milk/cream to cover. Whipping cream may also be used. Cook over very low heat for 3-4 hours uncovering for the last hour to reduce the cream to sauce. Serve with mashed potatoes and a vegetable.
