Starowl, This is the announcement I was referring to. You are exactly right in your assumptions. Adaptec is structuring itself for the FUTURE. Three main areas of focus: Systems (includes Storage Solutions), Host Interface Solutions, and Peripheral Solutions / Semiconductors. I think it is a great strategy. So the stock is beaten down now, but the positioning for the future is good. Long on ADPT!
