And while I'm thinking of it, you don't dare send them alone to the grocery store--even with a list! They won't come back until hours later with heaven knows what. They cannot be trusted to select produce properly.

Oh yeah, and no matter how tidy and neat the seem to be, they never clean in the corners. NEVER! However, I must sheepishly recall one remarkable exception to this phenomenon. He DID clean in the corners. He was also an excellent cook, and his ice box sparkled. It contained normal and readily recognizable foodstuffs. He had absolutely no interest in sports on TV. He was a rare and treasured find.
