Dear Claude, So many of the experts that so carefully scrutinize all historical documents about Jesus also taught evolution as fact not theory. There is a good book called Darwins Black Box, that disproves Darwins theory based on the new discoveries of DNA by a scientist not a creationist. Evolution was shoved down everyones throats with little scientific fact to support it for years, but any book they read about Jesus they painstakenly picked it apart for proof. I am sorry but they are hypocritical IMHO. Whenever the Gospels were written doesn't matter the fact is they were reported by more than three witness and I can assure you if evolution had three witnesses they would continue to promote it as undisputed fact. The problem I have is my children were taught evolution as fact and not even told that this was an unproven theory which in all due respect is the truth. These people have discredited themselves as unfactual scientist so all their OPINIONS of Josephus or the life of Jesus has little value to me. IMO God does not want people to be proven of His existence for that would not require thought or faith only acceptance of an obvious fact. Many SCHOLARS will accept the entire huge book of Josephus and question the details about Jesus come on if you are objective you can step back and say "come on". Any scholar that questions the truthfulness of the Bible can be discussed but anything that supports it is forgery or falsification? I see Josephus as a man in total control of his personal fears in order to report the facts and not what the scholars would say. Rav Shaul, Apostle Paul was also a Pharisaic Jew so some did see the Lord as the Messiah. The scholars don't believe these writings are factual either anything that backs up their thoughts is correct and anything that does not is falsification or forgery just like they did with Darwin.
