With seven million words in the tax code alone, I presume that Janet Reno or Kenneth Starr could find any of us in violation. When she was in Miami, though, she liked to put totally innocent people away on the basis of witch trial child abuse charges. I concede that the Democrats did the same thing to the Reagan administration (Caspar Weinberger and Ray Donovan, among others) but that doesn't mean that the current peccadillo feeding frenzy is justifiable. Two wrongs don't make Susan wrong. The courts should be kept as a last resort.
