Your thoughts regarding uncooperative witnesses make sense of course. As I mentioned, I don't represent any clients in a criminal context and my perspective on this investigative/prosecutorial process of the IC is probably only slightly better than a "layman's". Her reading list may be quite relevant, it may not. That was my point, you have to turn over the rock to know. Anyone who seriously thinks that Ms. Lewinsky prepared those "talking points" needs to have their head examined. "Talking points" is definitely DC lawyer jargon.

Bill Clinton is the ultimate moral relativist surpassing even some who post to this thread. The latest case in point is his attempt to instruct Cardinal Law on the finer points of Catholicism. I find it hard to summon any outrage as to the treatment of witnesses in this case given the amount of stonewalling, obfuscating, hiding the ball and other games Mr. Clinton and his lawyers have been playing. Addititionally, the use of these joint defense agreements with material witnesses smells like witness coaching to me. Something smells bad alright but its not Mr. Starr.

Also, notice that my question as to how shotgun subpoenas and the other "nefarious" methods Mr. Starr is alleged to employ violate the Constitution has yet to be answered. JLA
