The side impact airbag announcement by Ford will be followed in time by by other Auto OEM's. The future looks very bright for SDII, but they seem to have litle desire to secure analyst coverage.

My discussion with IR at SDII indicated they are benefiting from the recent problems at competitor [OEA], and on the automotive side are running very close to full capacity. Side impact airbags at Ford will mean a significant [but future] increase in output, and more capacity addition. SDII also seems to think they have a 'leg-up' on competition in the variable rate initiator [for children].

P.S. I'm not currently holding an SDII position.
