Greg, the degree to which our opinions coincide with actualities is my concern as always. This defines the degree to which we are opposed, as I said, I feel it is diametric. This is not a small matter.
Living on the 10th hole must be nice, not knowing the layout is an aesthetic crime. I would have a nice aerial shot of the hole right beside the window(s) that look out that way, don't you think ?
The 1 iron, as few golfers know, has a specific purpose ?
No one knows the that purpose, but it must be there, the 1 iron exists so it must have a purpose.
This is the mystery of golf.
You may carry a 1 iron simply for the extra weight, or, for the perverse, you can actually try to justify using such a club.
Some men have actually mastered the use of this club, they are very rare.
Off Topic : Do you like to fish then ? We have some of the finest fishing in the world right here where I live. The Bull Trout, now protected, is no match for the Cutthroat Trout found in certain high mountain lakes. Red Devils will work for the big ones down in the black but you better be patient. I fish the sandbars with Kraft Miniature Marshmallows. We also have tremendous slough sharks (pike) but they are only good in the spring,the Ukrainians pickle them in the most delightful way. |
