Legally speaking, the prevailing opinion is that a sitting President can not be indicted while in office. He would have to be impeached first. As I posted before this is extremely unlikely to occur. As to Paula Jones, assuming she goes ahead with her appeal, the appeal itself is likely to drag on for a couple of years. There won't be any trial during his administration absent some extraordinarily quick action by the Appeals Court. JLA
