An engineer friend who works for a manufacturer of high end RAID systems says they have gone to 100% fibre channel internally. The move to external fibre channel is only a matter of time. This doesn't mean that ADPT can't keep going, just that they must meet the challenge and move forward with the technology. If they rest on their laurels it spells disaster for all of us who are long ADPT (as I am).

My personal view is that SCSI will disappear over the next 5 years to be replaced by fibre channel and/or USB at the desk top.
