I found this excerpt from the story very interesting:

Here's a guy who doesn't have a mortgage (since they don't itemize), don't pay for food, and don't have car payments. He also somehow was making anywhere from 400,000 to 600,000 per year from 1992 through 1994. And people thought George Bush was out of touch with reality.
