A Jew and a Catholic were best friends. They did everything together. One day they realized that they had never attended services at the other's church. They decided that they should do this.

First they attended services at the synagogue. As they were leaving, the Catholic said, " Services at my church are very different. There are times in the service when we will stand and then kneel and sometimes repeat prayers after the priest. 'Oh', said the Jew. " I hope I don't do something wrong and embarrass you."

"Don't worry" said his friend. "Just do what I do and everything will be fine."

During the Catholic service the Jew stood when his friend stood, knelt when he knelt and repeated the necessary words with his friend. As they were standing one time, the Catholic bent over to whisper to his Jewish companion, "Did you FART?"

"No. Was I supposed to?"
