Not sure quite where you're going with this, but I think she probably has. For example: she quite recently "remembered" that Clinton put his hand against the door to stop her leaving the hotel room for a moment. Did she say in an earlier deposition that he had NOT attempted to stop her? If so, she's committed perjury, one time or the other.
My guess is that she's most like guilty of some, ah, sins of omission as well. That she got to the room knowing perfectly well that Clinton was going to try it on with her. She was happy to play along at first, maybe a little kissing, some petting, okay. Then he suggests oral sex (may or may not really have whipped out his willy), and she suddenly feels things are moving too fast and says she has to leave.
Still, she doesn't really feel she, uh, blew it, and tells the trooper that she'd like to be Clinton's girlfriend. And then he, annoyed that she hadn't given him what he wanted, never calls again....
Pure hypothesis, but it seems to me more plausible than what she claims happened. Guys don't just suddenly produce the family jewels and command that attention be lavished. Why not? Because it doesn't work. There needs to be at least SOME indication that the woman is interested. |
